Today my kids came home, we kissed and hugged, and we started talking about their day. They are home, safe, unaware of the tragedy that occurred last Friday in Connecticut, Newtown, Sandy Hook Elementary School.
Only thinking about those houses that are quieter than they should be, my heart aches. My heart breaks for those whose children did not come home that day. And they will not. There are no words.
We don’t know them personally, but their children will not be forgotten.
